A Celebration of Spring At the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Showroom

DC’s design community came together on Wednesday night in the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams showroom on 14th Street for cocktails, conversation, and a celebration of its Spring 2011 Furniture Collection.

Punctuated with modern classic pieces and the design and comfort that are benchmarks of the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams brand, the spring collection delivers the form and functionality that are essential for the well-designed home.

Here are just a few of the things that we love…

The lighting collection’s “Genevieve” lamp offers a sexy ceramic silhouette that can be customized in any one of the 14 playful color options…there’s Ocean, Lily, Lilac, Cinnabar, Raspberry and more – good luck choosing just one.

Looking for more lamp silhouette options? – not to worry –the Love Lighting program allows you to choose between five ceramic base designs.  Each design can be color customized with one of the 14 color options.

This decidedly modern yet classic console table from the Lawson collection, paired with two ottomans from the Rocco collection offers classic polished lines and the crisp color contrast of bold white and serene ocean blue.

Matching Miranda chairs dazzle the eye with a sculptured shape and gentle flair that communicate sleek and subtle movement.

Many of the guests on Wednesday night were delighted to meet the company’s co-founder Mitchell Gold. His laid-back presence was a treat and the unexpected announcement of his recent birthday was another cause for celebration.

Happy Birthday, Mitchell, and thank you for amazing design and a flawless event!
